Children's Product Reviews

Bear Grrrl from Ollie & Leila

Soft Toys from Ollie & Leila

If your kids are anything like mine they have a plethora of soft toys and you actually dread holidays that you know will add to the pile, but every now and then you see a toy that is just so darn cool you can't help but get it. The soft toys from Ollie & Leila are just those ones that will break your resolve and have you adding to the collection in a big way.

They have an amazing range of soft toys, bold and bright, super soft and cuddly, bears, monkeys, cats and rabbits to choose from....

Nom-Nom Kids Refillable Food Pouches

Nom-Nom Kids Reusable Pouches

I actually love these, Nom-Nom Kids Reusable pouches are the easiest refillable food pouches I've found and I've been using them for ages. When I heard that they had been improved I had to ask how? Well they have a double zip lock seal now, making them even stronger than before and I was sent three new ones to review....

Laugh & Learn Toolbox Review

Fisher Price Laugh & Learn Smart Stages Toolbox

L has been loving playing with the Fisher Price Laugh & Learn Smart Stages Toolbox, he does enjoy it when I get sent toys for him to review, especially toys that come with hammers, flashy lights and music he can have a little wiggle to.

Suitable from 6 - 36 months this really is a toy that will last and coming from a girl who hates noisy children's toys, this one is actually not irritating, I would go as far as saying I rather like it's little tunes....

Garofalo Children's Pasta

Garofalo Children's Pasta

This last month I have had the pleasure of cooking meals for the whole family using Garofalo's range of organic children’s pasta. What makes this pasta suitable for children? Well it has been developed exclusively for children in collaboration with Professor Luigi Greco, pediatrician and Professor at the University Federico II of Naples. La Giostra dei Bambini (Children’s Carousel) pasta uses only the best durum wheat semolina, organically grown, tested and certified free of pesticides and herbicides. It has all the quality, taste and nutritious benefits, which our pasta is known for. The pasta is high in carbohydrates, protein and fibre, perfect for active, growing children.....

Peli Play Pouch from BabyThingz

This is a fun and useful bathroom tidy, it simply slips over the edge of your bath and is adjustable so it will fit most baths with edges between 7.5cm and 12cm wide, it has a large net that can store all your bath time toys keeping them neat and tidy and allowing them to dry....

Quinola Kids Range

Quinola Mothergrain Kids Range

L has been helping out with this review, he was sent some of the Quinola Mothergrain Kids range to try. It doesn't matter how hard I try I cannot make all of L's meals from scratch so I always have a few ready made meals in the cupboard, they are just really handy....

Armadillo City from Mamas & PapasMamas & Papas Armadillo City

Not only does the Armadillo Range of Pushchairs from Mamas & Papas come in a great range of colours, be named after a small animal I'm rather fond of (the one at our local zoo does a little dance for it's keeper) and fully recline so it's suitable from birth, it can be used entirely one handed which as a mother of a now very wriggly toddler who has already been through this clingy, sleepy and 'I've got so much stuff I don't know what to do it with it' stages of parenting I can say is an amazingly handy thing.....

BrightStart

BrightStart Children's Vitamin

With all the dull and dreary weather we've had it can be even harder to get enough Vitamin D for your kids, to help with this we've been sent some BrightStart Vitamin D3 drops and DHA to try out.

Obviously L can't tell me if he's feeling the benefit of these, however, as a mum it's nice to know that he's getting all the nutrients he needs. The Department of Health recommend that children between the ages of 6 months and 5 years should take a Vitamin D supplement....

Paddy's Bathroom Products

Paddy's Bathroom Range

We have been simply loving the Paddy's Bathroom Range. I had never heard of it before but we were invited to their bubble barber event in London at the end of April, I made the decision not to attend as it would have been a long car/tube journey to then expect L to sit still and have a bubble hair do sorted! I could envisage all kinds of crying, bubble throwing, slippy, slidey chaos. So instead they kindly sent us some of the products to try out so we could set for ourselves what the Paddy's brand was all about.

It has officially been sunny and hot enough these last few days that we have needed sun cream, so much time spent outside enjoying the great weather has made it a must.
