A Cadbury's Christmas

29/10/2014

Cadbury Festive Treats & JamesCadbury Festive Treats & JamesI don't know what it is like for everyone else, but for us Christmas just isn't Christmas unless there is a Cadbury's Selection Box. Of course there is much more to the Christmas Range than that so I was sent some of this year's to have a little look at, enjoy a nibble of and of course review!

Advent Calender Advent Calender This year Cadbury have a lovely knitted theme, with the stitch work being plain to see as it creates all the lovely festive pictures on their packaging. This is especially evident on the fab Advent Calender we got sent, with chocolates for all of December who doesn't want a little bit of Dairy Milk everyday!? It's just what you would expect from Cadbury, plenty of the rich purple, a great festive scene with Father Christmas, a little shaped chocolates behind the printed doors.

Tree Decorations are another must for us, despite the fact I know they'll never make it until the big day I always have to hang a few chocolate son the tree. The Cadbury's decorations this year are just bigger than a mouthful, thick and tasty squares wrapped in foil. You get 9 in a pack which is plenty for a medium sized tree, but not enough for a medium sized husband, I can say this as ours are already all gone!

I have really enjoyed the Snow Balls, balls of chocolate in a crispy shell with a dusting f snow, OK icing sugar, but snow is more fun. Yummy and the prefect sized bag for sharing during a film, sadly my cries for Will Ferrell and Elf were ignored, it is apparently too early for festive films but not too early for festive chocolate.

Mousse SnowmenMousse SnowmenThe milk carton full of Dairy Milk Chunks is really fun, I think it would be great to have on display as part of a buffet or on the sideboard for guests, even on the Christmas dinner table.

The Mousse Snowmen are not only really quite amusing, but they are tasty, a perfect festive treat for a lunch bag or as a little something for smaller people or even bigger people who you think could do with a boost during the day. I put one as a surprise in my Husband's lunch bag and he was really happy.
